Let’s share and communicate through Palaris

PB-USA has launched the maiden issue of the Palaris, the organization’s quarterly publication. With the online publication, we thought that communication will increasingly be easier as the internet is arguably one of the most effective tools in media today, as we envision to allow our members to be closer together and create  a new era of communication.

As the internet may be accessible to anyone, any published information may be read and consulted by everybody. There is an opportunity for us to share an equal knowledge through the power of the internet through Palaris. Our newsletter hopes to overcome boundaries, physical and imagined barriers between PB-USA and residents of towns and associations of Pangasinan.  Through this medium of communication we inform, share and connect various towns people from far and near Los Angeles.  Through an understanding of its social and individual effects of this form of communication we intend to impact the hearts and minds of kabaleyans, kailians, friends and supporters alike.

Communication among us is needed. Through our online newsletter, we hope to foster an atmosphere of open and honest communication that allows PB-USA members and partner associations to express their differences, as well as love and admiration for one another. It also helps to understand the feelings of one another.

The main goal of Palaris as PB-USA’s medium of communication is to understand the interactions and behavioral pattern in certain circumstances of town organizations, its members, residents of towns, young ones and new arrivals kabaleyans in the United States. Due to attitudinal barriers, we need more consultations and interactions.  Palaris hopes to fill up this vacuum and become our means of communication knocking down barriers. The past decades showed a rapid increase in technologically-driven communication. Individuals are increasingly faced with condensed communication in the form of e-mail, text, and social updates. We have the “world” in our pockets via the technology and the mountain of information it brings.  Palaris will surely be an effective complimentary tool for unity.

With Palaris, we may be able to break cultural differences - where officers and members may have different expectations and norms. Communication to a great extent is influenced by culture and cultural variables. Understanding cultural aspects of communication refers to having knowledge of different cultures in order to communicate effectively with cross culture people. Cultural aspects of communication are of great relevance in today's world which is now a global village, thanks to globalization.                                                                                               Palaris will serve as a cost-effective medium for building relationships and maintaining regular contact with members of PB-USA. Our newsletter content should provide valuable information to our members which would establish PB-USA as  a  leader in  provincial news dissemination in tandem with our website www.pbusa1.com. Palaris can be used to share information among project teams, town associations or kabaleyans of  more than 50 towns and cities, to recognize superior performance, to celebrate milestones and achievements, to deliver training/seminar tips, and to build morale.
