The Urdaneta Voice is born!
The Urdaneta Voice is a first amendment paper of the Global Urdanetanians as a tool to bridge the gap among its members all over the world who are separated by physical and mental boundaries.
This is maiden issue and it comes out quarterly. Staff editorial reflects the opinions and sentiments of the paper as a while but opinions and viewpoints by staff contributors are the opinions of the individual and not necessarily the opinion of The Urdaneta Voice. All rights reserved. No part of the publication may be reproduced without permission.
The members of the editorial board conceived it as a vehicle of information, a forum for all Udanetanians to participate, and a venue for artistic and literary contributions from among the members.
With people dispersed around the world, it is hard to reach out with a medium that can surpass boundaries and natural barricade. With the birth of the Urdaneta Voice, this problem will be solved and resolved.
The Urdaneta Voice will chronicle events, will record activities, will pass on sentiments and ideas, and will encompass all moves and actions worthy of publication.
The birth o the paper came at a time that the emerging global organization is in need of a common tool that can bind them regardless of physical and emotional boundaries. It is a conduit for all worldwide, a unifying factor keeping all members informed and a virtual bond characterized by a common goal in a worldwide environment.
Expectedly, The Urdaneta Voice will showcase new turns of the organization that will include its thrusts and programs aimed at developing a new culture of the global organization anchored of the virtues amplified by our Dr, Jose Rizal and the carabao as symbols of strength and unity. The main question now is whether we can pursue these turns and sustain the direction we started and nurture the seed we planted towards a successful attainment of our vision and mission.
The resounding answer is: Yes, we can! And, yes we must! We will never run out of commitment and will never fail in pursuing our goal because they are part of our journey towards becoming what we are: a global entity deeply rooted as a true-blooded Urdanetanian! let's keep up the turns! ---Elpidio R. Attn: Publisher/Editors
The Global Urdanetanians
Dear Mr. Lino F. Caringal, Jr. and Mr. Elpidio R. Estioko,
On behalf of Pangasinan Brotherhood- USA, Inc, I respectfully write this message of gratitude and total recognition of your proactive stance in addressing the importance of enhancing your medium portal with the addition of an “e-paper”. Mindful of your large and worldwide membership, “The Urdaneta Voice “will be a dynamic source of information. I foresee the excitement and eagerness of the members, as we are with PB-USA, Inc., to view the maiden issue. Kudos to your journalistic vision.
The Original Urdanetanians is an active member of PB-USA, Inc. I am happy to report and submit that your organization is heavily involved in the implementation of PB-USA’s activities under the helm and leadership of Mr. Lino Caringal, Jr. I can safely say with certainty that the cooperation between our organizations is on a lateral level of support and understanding. Together, we are exploring all the possibilities to help our Kabaleyans (fellow Pangasinenses) and we will do so with careful planning and determination to act.
Other than fundraisings, we are extending our area of community assistance by igniting awareness on the expansion of product sourcing and manufacturing in Pangasinan which is definitely a dollar earning industry. We have scheduled a free seminar on this subject on January 26, 2013, Saturday, at the Marriott Long Beach Hotel. Again, I am proud to announce and share that Mr. Lino Caringal, Jr. is an integral member of the committee handling this project.
The timely birth of your newsletter is definitely an inspiring and motivating tool to lean on for total information. You have so many talented roving writers and reporters ready and willing to provide news bits and featured articles. Now, we all await the release of your maiden issue.
Congratulations and Mabuhay to The Global Urdanetanians !!!
Sincerely,
Eddie Ferrer
President, PB-USA, Inc.
