Eddie Ferrer – The Sweet River Comes Home to Mother Sea of Peace                           By Palaris

Love of Pangasinan. Two Pangasinenses exchanging words of kindness and strong feelings towards a province they both love and its provincial officials. The first one, Eddie Ferrer says, “Our deepest gratitude to then Governor and now Congressman Amado Espino Jr., Governor Amado 'Pogi' Espino III, Vice Governor Ferdinand Calimlim, Administrator Raffy Baraan, Provincial Board Members, Benita Pizarro, Atty. Verna Perez, Malou Elduayan, & Pangasinan local manufacturers for their solid total support, and commitment to bring in products of Pangasinan to the United States. The "Living Presence" of the Provincial Government of Pangasinan with our kabaleyan manufacturers at the Artesia Expo in October 2014 was the defining factor for the introduction of a miracle world product into the United States, Canada, and Mexico.”

Everyone has his own story. Eddie Ferrer’s is like a river that flows gently.  The melted snow from the Sierra mountain cascades to seek its mother destination to the sea.  It follows the path where the rocks meet its raging fury as each one joins others from every tributary from afar and above. Together they find peace and quiet as altogether they silently run into long stretches of the big river before the valley.  A moment of peace is a welcome after the fall from the mountains. Soon the huge river branch come rampaging once more as it hits the gateway to the giant falls. The journey’s tricky and perilous routes are never ending, full of twists and turns, but in time and with patience, it rests well.  From this rough ride reflects good tidings at the end of its journey.  That mighty river is exemplified  by Eddie Ferrer in this story. The second Pangasinense  is Verna Perez who says, “Let's look forward to more of this kuya Eddie Ferrer. Thank you for your love for Pangasinan."

Eddie’s inner strength is an ocean fury.  “A miracle of faith, sacrifice, and prayers - the end result came into fruition... the importation of a patented non-toxic environmental oil additive by IC Motoring Technologies Inc." More of IC Green Motor Oil Additives products have found its way to Los Angeles port via the ocean.  Eddie describes it a miracle product with an unbelievable demand with only a few months of being imported into the US. He congratulates the dynamic entrepreneurs Dennis Alvarez and Gloria Belinda Basilio  for a phenomenal job. Eddie’s entry into the theater of operations has impacted that exemplary success story from the customs and shipping end of the business. The reason for its success goes deeper than that – ocean deep – as far back in 2011, Eddie Ferrer as President of Pangasinan Brotherhood, had furiously willed the trade seminar series into being for the benefit of local producers of Pangasinan at the grass roots level.  As always he confronted all the challenges of the projects with the heart of a Lion, like a true Bedan he is!

The source of compassion and holy feeling. Eddie Ferrer declares, “It’s a special day of thanksgiving to Our Lady of Fatima's intercession for God's "Living Presence" in PB-USA's simple outreach to help build "Our Lady of Guadalupe" parish church in Villasis, Pangasinan - the poor helping the poor.” In a pilgrimage meeting on May 16, 2017, Pangasinan Brotherhood celebrated the 100th year anniversary with a Holy Mass with special guests - Soledad Obedoza Montilla and Dennis Alvarez.

Eddie Ferrer, having viewed the latest photo of Our Lady of Guadalupe church now under construction in Villasis through Soledad Obedoza Montilla shouted out loud, “Our Lady is calling for help to complete the construction!” The response was as deafening, an outpouring of love from good samaritans who  spontaneously offered  donations, amidst the compassion and good feeling  prevalent that holy afternoon.  Those who answered the call through  the PB-USA were EC Ferrer CHB/ Eddie Ferrer and Rhenee Ferrer, America Pacific Container Line/Jacqueline Ferrer, IC Green Motor Oil Additives/ Dennis Alvarez, Grace Belinda Basilio and Virginia Mandapat Coquia.

Eddie Ferrer  showed us the way to understand deeply and become aware of the role of the Holy Virgin Mary in Christianity and its effects to the spiritual well-being of the world. Eddie comments on my photos, “This is a wonderful depiction of the last days of Mary at the early formation of Christianity where Peter and the apostles were leaning on her, particularly Peter, for enlightenment as to what Christ envisioned for them to follow Him..."Full of Grace",  is now available for viewing at Netflix.” In that movie Holy Mary says, “When you said yes to Christ, you brought Him forth in your heart… your heart beating with His for eternity.”

Eddie Ferrer’s commitment to Him. On May 16, 2017, he declares, “My prayer of thanksgiving to Our Lady of Fatima's heavenly intercession for God's Grace for me to have a simple, humble, spiritual and beautiful partner in my life's journey. Together, we are committed to serve HIM. That beautiful partner is Rhenee Ferrer.

The couple made a silent retreat in Fatima at the Domus Pacis monastery where they freely spent their precious time in prayer and meditation. Eddie describes, "Kabaleyans, this is a special, spiritual, and thanksgiving meeting (stand on retreat), as we evaluate the various community activities we had aligned with the missionary messages of Fatima. Also, this will be a day of gratitude to our fellow kabaleyans who have given and sacrificed their precious time for our missions." "Let this meeting be a pilgrimage of faith and our prayers for God's continuing Grace through the intercession of Our Lady of Fatima to keep on going. Thank you, President Lino, for your vision in putting forth this marvelous, splendid and divine (one of a kind) meeting.
